A CITY OF FRAGMENTS
The creation of a mosaic
Venice is a city that offers many faces, the most common are the skyline at sunset or its most famous square Piazza San Marco. But there is also a more hidden city, the city of the artisans, those who keep alive the true spirit and contribute, through the renewal of old passions, to perpetuate ancient crafts, true heritage to be preserved over time.
Madame Annie is a french mosaic artist who lives from a
lifetime in Venice. She creats unique mosaics. With a skillful and
patient technique she joins small pieces of colored glass in order
to create true masterpieces that have found place in many buildings
of the city.
It is possible to visit her studio where she creats the mosaics.
THE OTHER VIEW OF THE CITY

The guests of Venice usually visit the city walking through the streets, going up and down from the 417 bridges or resting in the many and different squares, called "fields". To see Venice from the sea, the lagoon or the canals, will give you unforgettable images that will allow you to feel the real dimension of the city, and especially its inseparable relationship with water.

SUGGESTIONS FOR CURIOUS TRAVELLERS
To choose, to get lost ... there is not only one way to reach a place. As Franz Kafka said "you build the path only by traveling". We always advise our guests to experience the city in a spontaneous way who we do every day. But often the city is sparing of his most characteristic places and therefore, we try to suggest our guests places who have something special.
The hidden restaurants, the views that you should not miss, the squares you should rest in, the places where you should eat an ice cream walking along the foundations.
